Personnel’s selection and formation starts long before the position opening.

In every region, where the Holding’s enterprises are located, METALLOINVEST puts into practice professional accompaniment programs at schools and lyceums, which are aimed at selecting the most capable candidates for further education in specialized higher education institutions and employment at the Holding’s entreprises.

The most talented students receive personal grants from METALLOINVEST. More than 80% of graduates of specialized higher education institutions, who have successfully accomplished the internship at the Holding’s structural units, are afterwards recruited by METALLOINVEST.

METALOINVEST also attracts young specialists, graduates of the best technical institutes of Russia, providing them social support.

After the employment by METALLOINVEST, young specialists are granted with a possibility to constantly raise the level of their professional qualification. The system of professional adaptation implemented at the Holding’s enterprises is based on such elements as tutorship, acquaintance with the Enterprise’s goals through the «Induction day» and coaching programs. The main target of the professional adaptation is to boost the practical skills of the young workers and specialists so as to maximize labor productivity.

Further personnel training and education is implemented within the internal training centers as well as external trainings and workshops. During these training sessions and internships at the Holding’s enterprises, METALLOINVEST’s employees exchange best practices, and apprehend new skills and know-how.

Professional training programs are implemented at the internal education centers, where external experts are also invited in the quality of teachers and experts. The most outstanding specialists and workers, for example – nominees of the annual scientific conferences held at the Holding’s enterprises, - are proposed to perform professional internships at the enterprises outside Russia.

Every year, specialists, administrative staff and managers pass the annual attestation, set up to assess the level of knowledge, skills and professional achievements. The results of the annual attestation serve as a basis to set up an annual plan for professional education as well as the individual plan of development for staff reserve personnel.

Employees, forming the staff reserve, are offered the opportunity to enhance their professional skills within the individual training program, including the development of management and communication capacities as well as specific knowledge. After having received the individual education, METALLOINVEST staff reserve employees can be offered a position within their structural unit, as well as other enterprises of the Holding.
